Self-catering holidays are perfect for families, providing the space and flexibility that are much needed on holidays with kids. Add in a pool, the beach and some water sports, either on-site or nearby, and you have the perfect recipe for a family holiday you will remember for all the right reasons.
The Kosi Bay House is just perfect for that Kosi Bay self-catering holiday. Situated in the ground of the Kosi Bay Lodge, this private space has accommodation for 16 people. The accommodation consists of 4 cabins and an open plan communal living area. Plenty of deck space and a private swimming pool will give you the privacy and relaxation that a good holiday should provide.
There is plenty for all the family to do during the day. Fishing, kayaking, canoeing and snorkelling will keep the family entertained for hours. The breath-taking beaches are perfect for whiling away the long hours of a summer’s day. Plan day trips to Bhanga Nek and Black Rock and visit some of South Africa’s most unspoilt beaches.
If you are planning a visit to Kosi please note the following important points:
- To make the most of the surrounding areas a 4×4 vehicle is a necessity.
- If you are avid snorkelers then planning your trip around the low tide is important. Make sure that low tide allows you enough time to enjoy a fabulous snorkel before you have to leave the beaches for closing time.
- Some of the surrounding beaches require permits. To avoid disappointment make sure to organize your permits for access before turning up at the gate.
- Kosi Bay is a malaria area so make sure you are protected against mosquito bites.
